Eyelash Extensions 

Before

  • Do not drink coffee or preworkout 2 hours before your appointment
  • Remove all eye make up

After

  • It is very important to take care of your lashes to improve retention
  • Keep it clean and away from oily products
  • Use LuxeWhip Lash cleanser
  • Pat or use cool setting on blow dryer to dry your lashes
  • Brush your lashes when dried for it to be fluffy and straight again
  • Wait 3 hours to get your lashes wet
  • Wait 48 hrs to go in a pool-hot tub-sauna after you fill or full set
  • Get a fill every 2-3 weeks to maintain fullness
  • Be gentle
  • Contact your tech if you experience any signs of irritation
  • Do not Pick, pull, or rub your lashes
  • Do not Expose Lashes to a heat burst (ie. opening the oven and BBQ. Turn your face away because the heat will change the lash curls)
  • Do not Use an eyelash curler, waterproof eyeliner, products with oil and glycerin
  • **If you sleep on your side or stomach, purchase a silk or satin pillowcase to minimize lashes being rubbed against a rough surface

 

 

Eyebrow Tattoo

Before

  • The eyebrow area must be healthy, strong, non-sensitive and non-irritated. Here’s how to get your skin ready for the procedure.
  • Do not perform electrolysis one week before procedure
  • Do not tan two weeks prior or have sunburned face
  • Do not have any type of facial 2 weeks prior to treatment
  • Do not work out the day of the procedure.
  • Do not take Fish Oil or Vitamin E one week prior (natural blood thinners)
  • Do not wax, tweeze or tint your eyebrows 3 days before the procedure.
  • In order to avoid excessive bleeding and poor color deposit:
  • Do not drink alcohol 24 - 48 hours before your tattoo
  • Do not consume caffeine before your procedure
  • Do not take an aspirin or ibuprofen for pain relief (this thins the blood)
  • The following treatments are not recommended 30 days before the treatment:
  • -Botox and Fillers
  • -Fruit or Milk Acids
  • -Laser Treatments
  • -Chemical Peelings
  • -Exposure to strong sunlight 

AFTER - Eyebrow Post care instructions

During the dry healing process, the scabbing process is allowed to occur naturally. The scabs will form over the pigmented area and will eventually fall off on their own. The dry healing method is said to result in more crisp and defined hair strokes, as the scabs protect the pigmented area from smudging or smearing.

  • Do not get your brows wet for the first three days after the procedure. This includes showering, sweating, swimming, and avoiding contact with water.
  • Do not pick, scratch, or rub the treated area as this can cause pigment loss or scarring.
  • Starting on day four apply a thin layer of aftercare ointment on the treated area twice a day for 7 days to promote healing and prevent scabbing.
  • Keep the area clean, avoid touching the area and do not use any creams or lotions that contain fragrances, alcohol or peroxide

Avoid the following for the next 14 days:

  • Sauna, steam rooms, swimming pools and hot tubs.
  • No makeup on the brow area.
  • Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning.
  • Refrain from using any exfoliating products, such as scrubs, acids and retinols.
  • Avoid botox in the forhead area.
  • Do not lay of your face.
  • Avoid intense workouts

Healing Process

  • Be aware that the color may appear darker and bolder in the first few days, but will soften and lighten during the healing process.
  • What to expect for the next 10 days. The healing process is very similar to a body tattoo. The eyebrow area will begin to oxidize and gradually get darker. The darkest will be the following day. If there is any redness, it will subside in about 3 days. Eyebrows will begin to scab/flake with the healing time consisting of 7-10 days. Healing time differentiates from person to person; some may heal in 4 days, while some in 2 weeks. Try not to compare your healing process to others!
    • Day 1-2 Sore, sensitive and dark
    • Day 2-6 - Gets darker, and thick
    •  Day 7-10 - Scabs will form and become itchy. DO NOT SCRATCH YOUR BROWS)
    • Day 11-15- Appears patchy, light and uneven
    • Day 16-30 True Color appears 20-30% lighter and softer. WEEK 4 IS WHEN YOU WILL SEE THE FINAL RESULTS. 

Touch-up

  • To achieve the perfect brow shape and color, we need to see how your skin accepts the initial application and a touch-up appointment is require between 6-9weeks.
  • Initial Touch ups are typically scheduled within 6-9 weeks from the initial appointment. Touch up appointments are used to perfect the brows and add color density. This is a process and some clients may need multiple sessions to achieve their desired result.
  • Thereafter, Maintenance appointments are required to maintain the desired color and shape. Depending on your skin type, maintenance appointments should be scheduled, on average, every 9 – 24 months.
  • It is also important to note that all skin types are different. Some client’s skin may have a harder time retaining pigment and may require additional sessions.

 

 

Lip Blush

BEFORE

  • You must apply lip balm for a week before your appointment. Ensure your lips are not dry to have the best results and even color retention
  • Do Not consume caffeine and alcohol 24 hours prior to your appointment
  • Do not take Advil blooder thinner 48-72 hours prior to you appointment
  • Avoid exercising the day of your appointment
  • Do not take or get any chemical peels, laser skin resurfacing, vitamin A, retinol, fish oil, at least 4 weeks before your appointment
  • Do not get lip injections 4 weeks before and after Lip Blush service
  • If your appointment is booked during an outbreak of cold sores on your lips the procedure may not be done. Please be aware that you have the simplex virus herpes, you may awaken an outbreak following this treatment. It is highly recommended to take anti-viral medication such as Zovirax or Lystine 5 days before, then after the day of lip blush procedure.

AFTER - LIP BLUSH POST-CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Lips heal much faster than brows
  • Day 1 - May be swollen and bright
  • Day 2 - Swelling will go down and lips will go darker
  • Day 3- Lips will start to peel
  • Day 4 - Peeling continues
  • Day 5 - All peeling is gone
  • Day 1- Blot lips every hour and reappy the ointment given. Do not eat high fat or high sodium food during this time it will pull the color out.
  • Day 2-5 moisturize as often as possible.
  • Do not scratch, pick, rub, sun exposure, or sweat. Let the scabs full off naturally.
  • Do not eat anything that is too spicy or with too much citrus


Eyeliner

BEFORE 

  •  It is recommend to eat something before your appointment to make sure your blood sugar level stay stable during the procedure and you are comfortable
  • No excessive alcohol or caffeine consumption 24 hours before your procedure. Alcohol and caffeine can thin the blood, which causes the skin to be hypersensitive, and bleed/bruise more easily.
  • Avoid sun tanning one week prior to the procedure.
  • Avoid blooding thinning medications for 24 hours before the procedure. This includes Aspiring, Niacin (Vitamin B3), Vitamin E, of Advil/Ibuprofen, fish oils tablets. Please consult your physician if this is an issue.-
  • Eyelash Extensions must be removed 3 day prior to the procedure.
  • Discontinue Retin-A one week prior to the procedure.
  • No botox around the eye area 2 weeks prior.
  •  Eyelash growth serums like Latisse bring extra circulation to the lash line area which results in more growth of hair/lashes. This will cause skin to be hypersensitive and bleed easily. It is recommended to discontinue the use of these products at least 3-6 months before your eyeliner appointment.
  • Do not wear any eye make up on the day of your appointment.
  • - If you wear contact lenses, please wear glasses on the day of your appointment.
  • Please note: You will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.

AFTER - EYELINER POST-CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Wash your eyes Quickly (10 second or less) tonight. Blot dry immediately
  • Keep 100% dry from water for the next 10 days or so. It you have oily eyelids you may wipe the lid with a dampened paper towel.
  • If a scab has formed and it is uncomfortable, you may use a touch of healing ointment on the upper part of the eye, but should always be kept off the lash line.
  • Scabs will take about 7-10 days to peel off. Do no pick at the scabs or peel them off prematurely.
  • Swelling and redness is normal for the first few days. Especially, in the morning
  • Exercising the eyes can reduce swelling and puffiness. Try blinking actively for 2 minutes in the morning.
  • Slight stinging sensation in the first few days is also normal
  • The color will fade approximately 30-50% lighter when the scabs fall off. This is completely normal
  • To achieve the perfect eyeliner, we need to see how your skin accepts the initial application and a touch-up appointment is where we perfect the shape and color
  • No eye makeup is allowed until the scabs completely fall off.
  • Avoid sweaty exercises, hot saunas, hot yoga, and swimming.

SCABBING

  • The eyeliner will start to form scabs and they might look dark and thick on the first few days. As the skin heals, the scabs will fall off in random pieces and might look patchy.
  • Flaking and crusting on the tattoo may occur.
  • Avoid pulling off the scabs that are dried on the lashes.
  • When you try to pull off the scabs that are hanging on the lashes, ensure the scabs are soff enough to slide off from the lashes. Use a mascara brush to yelp remove the scabs.
